Katie Claire
Katie Claire has worked off-Broadway, regionally, and at the University level as an Intimacy Director. She has trained with both Intimacy Directors & Coordinators and Theatrical Intimacy Education. Katie specializes in creating intimate moments both onstage and on camera that are vulnerable and powerful. With her extensive Intimacy training, she helps actors feel confident by honoring their boundaries and creating a workplace of consent. With this agency in place, the actors and the entire team collaborate to create emotional and unforgettable stories.
Katie was the Intimacy Director for Metropolitan Playhouse's Off Broadway production of She's Got Harlem on Her Mind.
Katie has Intimacy Directed Pippin, Spring Awakening, Heathers, Legally Blonde, and Alice by Heart at Vanguard Theatre; Terrorism at Columbia University; A Midsummer Night's Dream at LIU Post; The Balcony, Lysistrata, Everybody, She Kills Monsters, Our Lady of 121st Street, Bring it On and Purgatory in Ingolstadt at Marymount Manhattan College; The Wedding Singer, Footloose, And The There Were None at interAct Theatre; Agnes of God and The Music Man at Summit Playhouse; Blue Stockings and A Midsummer in Jersey at Newark Academy; and A New Brain at Old Library Theatre.
She recently was the Intimacy Coordinator on the short film, Surrender.
